Burin Campus of College of the North Atlantic is located on the east coast of Newfoundland on Placentia Bay. The historic town of Burin has approximately 2,500 residents. The Campus houses a gymnasium, cafeteria, learning commons, and a residence. The residence, Donahue House, is located on the College grounds and is connected to the Campus.
Burin campus' goal is to not only produce graduates who are highly competent, knowledgeable, and ultimately successful in their chosen field, but also to produce graduates who have fond, happy, and lasting memories of their educational experience.
The Town of Burin has a number of recreational facilities and amenities. Hiking and walking trails lie within the town, including the Cook's Lookout Trail and the Salt Pond Trail adjacent to Burin Campus. Burin also has a recreational complex known as Central Park including a playground, paved walking track, dog park, beach volleyball, basketball courts and activities for the whole family. Nearby amenities also include the Marystown YMCA, Kaetlyn Osmond Arena, and the Track and Field Complex. Burin Campus is within close proximity to the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre and K-12 schools.
