-To get specialized in cutting-edge professional fields, to be able to apply theoretical knowledge for the solution of practical and relevant problems in the world of public enterprises and institutions, to open up to international context. One of the core aspects is the student-centered teaching methodology, according to which the teacher’s knowledge is transferred to the students in a participatory way by continuously monitoring their effective learning. That is why our classes host no more than 25 students.
With this respect, Link Campus University is characterized as a University that provides the “know-how”. Although our undergraduate and graduate programs are traditionally structured and named according to the Ministry’s guidelines, they are nevertheless highly innovative as they aim to shape outstanding professional figures in the world of work, through a diversified teaching approach enabling students to face the challenges of new occupations.
-Our University is situated in a magnificent historical complex, the Manor of San Pio V, immersed in a wonderful park located in the centre of Rome, right next door to the Vatican City. You will have the opportunity to enjoy studying in a university with a highly innovative imprint and at the same time in an atmosphere of rare beauty, steeped in history and ancient conquests. This will enhance the development of competences in order to deal with employment in an ever rapidly changing world.
Built on the order of Pope Pius V in the XVI century the Manor was a summer residence of the Pope up until 1655 when the Chigi’s family took the ownership. In 1870, instead, Queen Margherita of Savoy took control of the Manor transforming it into a hospice for blind people - Sant’Alessio Regional Centre, Margherita di Savoia per i ciechi. Since 2016, the Manor of San Pio V has become the home of Link Campus University.
-Compared to the other public and private Italian universities, LCU boasts a training program characterized by an innovative methodological approach, as well as well-structured teaching.
The teaching process is based on teacher-student interaction so that students are encouraged to learn as much as possible, so as to solve a number of problems, arising from the economic, institutional, communication and legal fields.
Besides traditional lectures, different interactive tools are used, such as;
“Strategic Conversation”, focused on specific problems
-Laboratories, aimed at preparing students to understand the innate complexity of the practical problems of the world of work
-Moments of “Immersion Mix” during which students, together with teachers, deal with issues that require multiple knowledge even outside the specific cognitive boundaries of the study program
Furthermore, in order to better explain the reality of the subjects (public institutions, enterprises, etc) which represent employment opportunities for graduates, the so-called “Learning Global Journeys” are offered in Italy and abroad. In other words, the innovative elements characterizing LCU’s teaching methodology are:
-Teacher-student” active interaction
-Learning by Doing
-Multidisciplinary approach to complex issues
-Debate on the problems affecting the world of work (Learning Journeys)
