The Logistics in Aviation specialization is a consequence of the dynamic development of the aviation industry in Poland and the growing demand of manufacturing and service companies in the scope of acquiring logistics specialists focused on the broadly understood aviation industry. In this area, the university's offer is unique on a national and European scale.
As part of the specialization, students will find out how to manage air transport for passengers and cargo in a modern way and will acquire knowledge about legal aspects of international air transport (passenger and cargo). A major number of classes is also devoted to becoming familiar with modern navigation systems and forecasting flight conditions using satellite technologies. In order to do so, the university equips a specialized laboratory for satellite communication and reading weather reports for the needs of flight organization. During their studies, students will also get to know the principles of aviation safety, including analyzes of aviation accidents, and the specifics of security systems at airports. Students have the opportunity to do internships in domestic and international aviation industry corporations, as well as at airports and airport logistics structures, companies involved in transport and air freight forwarding.
