About Ontario
Ontario is one of the thirteen provinces and territories of Canada. Located in Central Canada, it is Canada's most populous province (13.5 million), with 38.3 percent of the country's population, and is the second-largest province. Ontario is also the nation’s wealthiest province, having a substantial share of the country’s natural resources and its most mature and diversified industrial economy. English is Ontario's official language, though there are several French-speaking communities across the province. French language rights have been extended to the province’s legal and educational systems. Besides general information, Ontario is easy by highway, boat, or rail. You can visit attractions throughout the province, from country fairs and museums to zoos, floral gardens, theme parks, and special events. Climate of the Ontario
Weather conditions may vary in different regions of Ontario. There are four seasons, summer, winter, autumn, and spring. In most places, January is the coldest month, and July is the warmest. Winter starts in the last week of December. The temperature of Ontario could fall as low as -30 degrees during winter. You can expect it to snow often. In spring, there is occasional rain in Ontario. So, it is best to carry your raincoats and umbrellas to keep yourself safe. The temperature rises to 8 degrees in spring. So, it is moderately cold. However, the temperature in summer can rise up to 30 degrees. At this time, the weather is hot and humid. During the autumn the temperature starts to drop again. The days get shorter, and in some parts of Ontario, there maybe rain. It is during this time the tree leaves fall out and the season changes color. So get your wardrobe ready :)
