Psychology researches human experience and behavior and develops suggestions as to how optimal conditions can be created so that people can exploit their potential for mental health, performance and quality of life as fully and sustainably as possible. The aim of the Master’s program in Psychology at Jacobs University is to qualify the psychologists of tomorrow in such a way that they can help shape this diversity in a positive way. The course is based closely on the recommendations of the German Society for Psychology. Graduates qualify for all fields of psychology. This also includes the subsequent training as a psychological psychotherapist.
In terms of content, the M.Sc. in psychology on three pillars. In addition to clinical psychology and work, economic and organizational psychology, this is intercultural psychology.

Successful graduates also have the option of continuing their academic qualification with a doctoral thesis.
